I chose the Druk Path Trek because I wanted a short yet rewarding trek close to the main cities. Starting from Paro and ending in Thimphu, it offered a perfect loop to experience Bhutan’s highlands without spending weeks in the mountains. The trail was adventurous, with steep climbs, dense forests, and windy ridges — just what I was looking for. But the best part was the spectacular high-altitude lakes and 360-degree views of snow-covered peaks. We also met a few local yak herders, adding a real Himalayan touch to the journey. If you want a quick taste of Bhutan’s trekking magic with great views and good challenge, Druk Path is the one to choose.
