Great Adventure In Bhutan
The Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek was a dream come true for me as an avid hiker. I had read about Bhutan’s serene landscapes, but nothing could prepare me for the pristine alpine lakes, wildflower-strewn meadows, and the undisturbed peace of the Dagala region. The trail was relatively moderate in difficulty, but the altitude made it a good challenge. What I loved most were the panoramic views of the Himalayas, especially spotting peaks like Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga on clear days. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating local legends about each lake. The isolation from modern life gave me time to reflect and recharge. If you're looking for a true wilderness trek in Bhutan that’s not crowded but rich in natural and cultural beauty, Dagala should be at the top of your list.
