The Dagala Trek offered me an unparalleled connection with nature. As a birdwatcher, I was thrilled to spot several Himalayan monals, blood pheasants, and rufous-vented tits during the trek. The biodiversity here is amazing — not just birds, but also alpine plants and yak herds grazing in their natural habitat. The serene lakes had an almost spiritual aura, many of which are considered sacred by locals. Our guide respected both local customs and environmental practices, and we always left each campsite as we found it. It’s rare to find a trek that is both ecologically rich and culturally respectful. For those who seek to explore Bhutan’s wild side without compromising sustainability, Dagala is perfect and very wonderful.
Highly Recommoned Amen Bhutan Team .
